Moment 1

A friend of mine turned 21 so we had a BBQ at his house which backs on to a canal.

beers were getting skulled, sausages were getting thrown and in between all the chaos, there was a moment of beauty.

Happy birthday Bryce. This shot is for you.

Poor Christine

I had to watch my mother rediscover her own home as she refused my help, shortly after an eye operation. Unable to open or move her eyes, she sat in darkness and listened to the television spit nonsense and quietly waited for a warm cup of tea.

Oh mother nature

I was in town the other day, minding my own business, then out of no where came mother nature or something monstrous like that. So I dashed up the light house to take these shots...

Thirty five mil

If you've been looking though this blog, you might have noticed that most of my pics are digital photos of random places and faces. I enjoy digi because it's easy, fun and wayyyy cheaper to produce, But every now and then I'll pick up my old canon, sit back and wait for something worth while. something a little bit different that will grab my eye and make me release that shutter.

I have decided to upload some of my recent 35mm shots just to show you that i'm not all cought up in my new digi camera. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Burn it

Australia is a blessed country, there's no questions about it. We’ve all been lucky to live in a country so vast with culture. An endless coast line with pristine waters, rolling grassy knolls and bloody bush fires! what!?
Yeah, well a friend and I were heading home from the gold coast at night and had to stop because the free-way was a fucking inferno! It makes you wonder why the devil himself isn't a full time resident here.

anyway, here's a shot that i took pre marshmallows.
